What?
The agency is looking for an Information Architect and User Experience expert to champion the needs of the consumer user in the process of developing digital campaigns and products.
The candidate should be able to look at how digital solutions work to natural human instincts, and are made more usable, useful, accessible and desirable. They must know how all components of a digital solution work together seamlessly as part of a campaign and how the interaction with the campaign enhances brands.

Responsibilities of the role will include:
• Development of the use of IA and User Experience and its profitable effect on the business
• Production of scoping deliverables such as user strategy, wireframes, user journeys and scenarios, use cases, information architectures, process and sitemaps, etc.
• Facilitating requirements gathering exercises with the client, stakeholders and user groups
• Defining user personas, communities and capturing motivations, attitudes, requirements and tasks
• Designing and facilitating functional modelling workshops and user testing exercises
• Educate and evangelise IA and User Experience across the agency
• Contributing to pitches and project work
• Website evaluation and competitive benchmarking
• Working with project managers to establish user needs and gather all information required
• Define customer scenarios and journeys to represent each key target audience and identify their goals and tasks
• Identify all content required on the site and how it should be organised
• Create site structure and navigation systems, working with designers and Flash
• Review project at all stages during design and development to ensure everything works as intended
• Acting in an advisory capacity with clients, so that they trust agency expertise, and listen to advice

Who?

The candidate will have:
• The ability to quickly understand the client's business and business objectives, as well as target audience needs, and translate this into an effective statement of work and scope.

• An understanding of marketing best practices and key planning and strategy functions, experience in working in or with, agencies and how they work in terms of pressures and focus.

• An understanding of good usability practices online - how people behave online, what aspects of site design (structure, interface, content) help to make the overall experience simpler, more effective and more satisfying.

• Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to evangelise user centric approaches to projects.


• A general understanding of internet technologies and recognising the technical implications of design decisions and accessibility issues.

• Strong skills and knowledge in user-centred design, usability best practices, interface design, interactive prototyping, creative and technically knowledgeable in HTML, Flash, websites, advertising rich media, online widgets and applications, as well as Visio and similar diagramming packages.

• Experience in evaluating creative in terms of user-centred design principles, defining user journeys, site mapping, content development and navigation, tagging and taxonomy.
